Swiss Approval Technische Bewertung and Swiss Approval Lloyds, members of the International Network of the Swiss Certification and Inspection Body, are honored to hosting a delegation of esteemed officials from Egypt on Monday 28thJanuary 2019, in the frame of the event “New Silk Roads’ Development”, which took place at the premises of the Welding Greek Institute in Elefsina, Greece.
The main speaker of the event was the former Prime Minister of Egypt, Dr. Essam Abdelaziz Ahmed Sharaf. Moreover, the following esteemed participants were among the invited guests: Mr Mohamed Abdelkader Abdalla Gaballa, President & CEO of SUEZ CANAL SHIPING AGENCIES CO, and Mr Ismail Abouzid, Ambassador of the United Nations.
Furthermore, many significant personalities attended the event, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Marine and Islands’ Policy, Mr. Lampridis Christos, the Special Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Mr. Kourmoussis Fotis, the President of Small & Medium Sized Industries Chamber of Piraeus Mr. Michalaros Andrianos, the former Minister and Professor of the University of Piraeus, Mr. Katsanevas Theodoros, the famous Greek artist Mr. Talaganis Dimitrios as well as important Greek entrepreneurs from the industries of Marine, Energy, Healthcare, etc.
Based on the geostrategic and political-economic alliance of the two countries, in the context of the modern vision of “New Silk Roads”, Greece, from antiquity to the present, remains a hub for the developments and the interconnection from East to West, on important sectors of the economic growth such as shipping, energy, transportation, communications and medical tourism.
